At Be Beautiful Medical, we believe that when you look good, you feel good — and when you feel good, it shines outwardly. True beauty begins from within, and emotional wellbeing is an essential part of that. I have often seen how life’s challenges, from relationship struggles to issues of confidence, affect not only how people feel but also how they carry themselves in the world.
This is why I’m so pleased to welcome Kristina Longtin, MSW — Couple and Family Therapist, Psychotherapist. With extensive experience supporting individuals, couples, and families, Kristina helps people navigate life’s challenges with compassion and clarity. She brings a wealth of training and expertise to her work, and I’m confident she will be an incredible resource to our community.
Kristina offers her services independently and can be contacted directly. You’ll find her full bio and contact information below.

Welcome to my psychotherapy practice, where healing is cultivated through the transformative power of relationships. I’m honoured to now offer my services to the Cornwall community, following meaningful work in Montreal’s West Island and extensive clinical experience at the Jewish General Hospital. My journey has been shaped by a deep commitment to relational work, and I’m excited to continue that path here by supporting individuals, couples, and families in navigating life’s emotional complexities with compassion and clarity.
I hold both a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work from McGill University, and I completed a postgraduate certificate in Couple and Family Therapy through the Jewish General Hospital. I am a certified psychotherapist as well as a certified couple and family therapist, with a strong foundation in relational and systemic approaches.
At the heart of my therapeutic philosophy lies the belief that meaningful change often arises within the context of safe and attuned relationships. I place great emphasis on the therapeutic alliance, which serves as the cornerstone of our work together. Through a compassionate and collaborative process, we will explore the deeper layers of your emotional world, whether that means identifying limiting thought patterns, unpacking relational dynamics shaped in early life, or making sense of the subtle influences that guide your choices and reactions.
I believe that most individuals and families are seeking a sense of meaning and coherence in their lives. Together, we will work to co-create a narrative that reflects your values, aspirations, and emotional truth, with the intention of fostering a more grounded and fulfilling path forward.
My approach is integrative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from psychodynamic and systemic frameworks, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and incorporate elements of existential, humanistic, and mindfulness-based practices to support holistic healing.
In addition to individual therapy, I offer dedicated support for couples and families navigating relational challenges. Whether facing communication breakdowns, intergenerational tensions, or transitions marked by grief and change, my work is rooted in the understanding that healing often begins within our closest connections. In couple therapy, we explore attachment patterns and emotional responsiveness; in family work, we attend to systemic roles and relational dynamics that shape each member’s experience. My goal is to create a space where every voice is heard, and where new possibilities for connection and growth can emerge.
